1)  When Checking for collisions I first noticed that the character would always go through the wall.  After being able to collide with the wall, the right and top side of the wall was able to move through.

2)  The first thing to make the wall move was to lower the friction of the character. After was to change “.wall.” into “.man.”

3) _x and _y are the coordinates. It tells the program what direction it should move and by how much depending on the variable.

4) Changing the instance name.

5) The “speed” was important because of the impact the wall will take if it is enough or not.

Let’s Talk About Politics! Yaayy~ Funnest Thing…EVER! Technology wise

Alright, everyone is more interested in the American election even Canada. Why? ….Who knows. But this Post is not about who won it is about the type of technology they used. Something different to discuss than who won and who is better and what the issues were. Since John McCain is old, he barely knows about the type of technology we use today. Barack Obama is younger and understands how the young people think. Mr.Obama used this as an advantage to help his campain. He used technology to communicate with the younger active voters. He took advantage of the internet! Which is what the younger generation uses. How did he use the internet? He used sites where people could watch his campaining anytime, he used sites that people use to socially communicate and more! Yes, Mr.Obama is a smart person and I respect that.

John McCain also used the internet but Barack Obama’s use of the internet was better. Mr.Obama’s knowledge of the internet was far more superior than Mr.McCain. He caught the younger generations votes by communicating with them the way they are used too. He used social websites to communicate with them. Websites such as “Myspace”, “Facebook”, etc. Young people could then realise that they could relate to him and also notice him more. This could help recieve votes from biased voters. Mr.Obama also used websites that could play videos. People could then watch these videos at home and decide. He was connecting to people using the internet.

Using websites such as “youtube” helped him in his campain by getting interenet users to view his videos. When people find interesting videos they tend to send it to their friends or other people who may find it interesting. This helped him spread his campain even faster and easier. Also if you compare the Obama and McCain websites, there are some differences. Mr.Obama site is more appealing. It contains things that people could get. It has ringtones, music, and things that could be added to the Apple iPhone. These are more things that younger people are interested in. Alot of his votes from younger people are obtained thanks to the internet!

Since Obama made this really smart move of using the internet, many people may start taking advantage of this idea. Future candidates will also start using websites that people visit to communicate with them. They might use the same idea Obama used. Using “viral” videos and social communicating sites. And with technology still growing they will also find more places and get better ideas on how to use the internet to campain.

The “Mophie Juice Pack” is like an extra battery used for the Apple iPhone and the Apple iPod Touch. It is a rechargable lithium battery. It is in the form of a case that could hold the two products. The “Mophie Juice Pack” give the iPhone and iTouch a longer battery life. Since the iPhone and iTouch has an irreplaceable battery this helps it by adding more to it. It also acts as a non slip grip case that is like a shell to protect the Apple products from damage. There is a small semi-circle cut on the top corner for the camera built in the iPhone and iTouch. The product is good for people who take alot of time taking pictures, listening to music and using the internet.

The “Mophie Juice Pack” has alot of good concepts in it but there also a few flaws. First of all, it is only compatable with the older version of the Apple iPhone. Since the Apple company built a new version of the iPhone, the iPhone 3g, more people will be buying that and the “Mophie Juice Pack” will no longer be of use. Another flaw is the price. The Price is pretty high and the Apple iPhone and Apple iTouch already costs alot of money, this will just be adding more money to the product. One more thing is the size, it makes the already large size product even bigger.
